Mohegan Gaming names Jody Madigan chief operating officer
Mohegan — Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment has named Jody Madigan, formerly general manager of the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, La., as chief operating officer.
Madigan, 49, held the post at Paragon from 2018 to June 2021, a period in which MGE managed the casino, which is owned by the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe. MGE’s five-year partnership with the Louisiana tribe ended in June. Earlier in his career, Madigan spent two years as assistant general manager of Mountaineer Casino in New Cumberland, W.Va., and a year as president and general manager of Casino Miami in Florida.
“With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and casino gaming industry, Jody’s leadership and expertise will contribute to MGE’s continued growth and success,” Ray Pineault, MGE’s president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
Madigan will report directly to Pineault.
