Sirhan Sirhan not deserving of parole

The Guest Editorial, "Don't parole Sirhan," (Sept. 14) is the right call, guest or otherwise. Some murders are so devastating, the killer is known by their full names so as not to be confused with anyone else: John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, James Earl Ray. Well, if you can't remember Sirhan, I'll say it again: Sirhan Sirhan. Please note these most tragic American assassinations were all perpetrated on progressives whose goal was to advance basic human rights to underserved minorities. The progressive's goal in each case was to free those shackled by racist discrimination whose only "crime" was being born into a different skin shade.

All lives start equal, but all murders are not, as some individuals accomplish much with their lives (I wouldn't know), achieving a greater good, which makes the sudden, violent end of their lives sadder than others.
