'Blumenthal's blunder' raises question

Senator Blumenthal’s recent appearance at the Communist Party Centennial celebration ("Blumenthal's blunder," Dec. 30) has added yet another controversy to his career, but possibly shed light on another: he has claimed service during the Vietnam war, but there are no U.S. Military records of such. Perhaps he failed to mention which side he fought for.
