Boy Scouts Help Garden Club Create Pocket Park

Boy Scout Troop 471 recently helped the Guilford Garden Club dig holes and plant daffodil bulbs around one side of the ruins of the Woodruff Farm property. The property, now owned by the town, is going to be a "pocket" park for the residents of Guilford to enjoy. The Guilford Garden Club is working with the town to plant trees, and the Boy Scouts will help plant more bulbs. Benches will eventually be installed for the public's enjoyment.
