Two brothers have pleaded no contest to attacking a man during a large brawl outside the WildStyle Motorcycle Club in downtown New London on Sept. 22.

Robert Marin, 23, entered his plea Tuesday in New London Superior Court. Judge Susan B. Handy will sentence him Oct. 30 to up to 2½ years in prison for accessory to second-degree assault.

Donte Martin, 22, pleaded no contest to the same charge in July and will be sentenced Oct. 23 to up to 2½ years in prison. Their attorneys will have the right, at sentencing, to argue for lesser prison terms. Both remained incarcerated while their cases were pending.

Prosecutor Lawrence J. Tytla said that police responding to a report of a 3:30 a.m. stabbing at 111 Bank St. found a victim with multiple stab wounds and a second victim with multiple facial lacerations, a broken nose and a split from the bridge of his nose to his nostrils. He was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

The Marin brothers were charged in connection with the second victim, Jairo Perez. Police recovered cellphone video of the attack showing Perez on the ground, Tytla said. In the video, when Perez gets up and begins to flee, he is struck from behind and a woman is heard saying, "Damn, Robert." The victim then falls to the ground, the video shows, and is pummeled by others, Tytla said.

Two other brothers, Jose and Juan Roman of Waterford, president and vice president of the now-shuttered WildStyle Motorcycle Club at 130 Bank St., are charged with the stabbing, which left a man with life-threatening injuries. The Romans remain incarcerated and have court dates this week.
