    Crosscutters score 2 in 7th to top Tigers

    Williamsport, Pa. - The Williamsport Crosscutters scored two runs in the seventh inning to come back from a one-run deficit and beat the Connecticut Tigers 3-2 before 1,137 fans at Bowman Field on Monday night.

    The Tigers (13-11) jumped out to the early lead with a run in the third inning. Brett Anderson hit a one-out double and moved to third base on a groundout by Chao-Ting Tang. P.J. Polk's RBI single scored Anderson for a 1-0 lead.

    In the fourth inning, Alexander Nunez's RBI single gave the Tigers a 2-0 Tigers lead.

    The Tigers and Crosscutters finish their series on tonight Josue Carreno (1-2, 3.93) gets the start for Connecticut.

    The Tigers next home stand begins Wednesday against the State College Spikes at Dodd Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
