Hudson Valley beats Tigers

Ryan McChesney had two hits, including a two-run home run, as the Hudson Valley Renegades scored four times in the top of the sixth inning to beat the Connecticut Tigers on Tuesday, 7-4, in a New York-Penn League game played before 1,204 at Dodd Stadium
James Harris had two hits, two runs and an RBI for the Renegades (33-34) and John Alexander had a double and two RBI.
Curt Powell had three hits and scored for the Tigers (31-36) and Ben Verlander added two hits, including a solo home run.
Both teams had a sloppy night defensively. Hudson Valley had four errors, Connecticut three.
