    Stonington showcases its artists

    Who's your favorite Stonington artist?

    You’ll get a chance to decide Friday as the La Grua Center in the borough hosts the preview party for its 3rd Annual Stonington Artists Invitational from 5 to 8 p.m. The event if free and open to the public.

    Last year’s opening attracted a large crowd. This year, more than 45 local artists will be featured in the exhibit which will remain on display through Sept. 8.

    Some of the artists may be your neighbors. The lineup is as follows: Ester Arndt, Willis Arndt, Harriet Ballard, Teri Banas , David Bareford, Natalie H. Bartholet, Karin Bastidas, David Black, Sarah Blair, Carmel Bourneuf, Diane Brown, Kate Careb, Patrick Conway, Clement Despard, Sadie DeVore, Janice DiBattista, Virginia Dugan, Jack Fix, Marcia Fix, Sandy Fromson, Stan Gaby, Ardis Holliday, Marylys Jackson, Paul Janssens, Tod Johnstone, Bibiana King, Saren Langmann , Jude Larzelere, Oliver LeBras, Vincent Loiacono, Kate Love, Tim Love, Sibby Lynch, Juli Mancini, Susan McDormand, Roberta MacGregor , Juan O’Callahan, Kathleen Page, Jeffrey P’an, Dan Potter, Nicholas Reardon, Doug Rice, Lorie Hadden Sava, Dennis Sirrine, Nina Stimson, Beth Sullivan, Norma Vyse, and Shelley White .

    Parking for the La Grua Center is in the main/north lot of Stonington Commons at 32 Water Street.
