Here is your itinerary for today and Saturday:

No. 6 Xavier (5-1) at Hillhouse (5-1), today, 3 p.m.

An afternoon special. Odds are that a CIAC Class LL hopeful can't afford two losses, so it's in Xavier's best interests to win. Hillhouse could probably survive another loss and still qualify for Class M, but there's no fun in losing.

Ledyard (4-2, 1-1 ECC Medium) at Montville (5-1, 3-0), today, 6:30 p.m.

One of the weekend's biggest games. Don't believe us? CPTV Sports will be broadcasting it LIVE. Don't you ever doubt us again. Montville clinches the division with a win and, better yet, would be in great position to make the Class M tourney. The Colonels' playoff hopes are on the edge, and a loss would send it spiraling into the empty void. A Ledyard win creates a three-way tie for first in the Medium.

Farmington (6-0, 3-0 CCC D-2 West) at No. 4 Windsor (5-0, 3-0), today, 7 p.m.

Farmington has merrily rolled through its season, meeting little resistance along the way. Its year gets much, much tougher tonight. Windsor is coming off a madcap 40-35 win over Middletown. This game will also reshape the Class L rankings — the Warriors are second, the Indians fifth.

Woodland (4-1, 4-0 NVL Cooper) at Naugatuck (4-2, 3-1), today, 7 p.m.

The Hawks are the only unbeaten team left in the Cooper and, should they win their next two games, would get a nice, new banner for their gymnasium. A Naugatuck win would further muddy the division's waters.

North Branford (5-0, 5-0 Pequot Sassacus) at Cromwell (5-1, 5-1), Saturday, 1 p.m.

This sucker will impact both the division and Class S. North Branford has averaged 51 points. The Panthers are in must-win mode.

New Fairfield (4-2) at Oxford (4-2), Saturday, noon

A playoff eliminator as neither team could afford a third loss. New Fairfield is 11th in Class M; Oxford is wa-aaaay back at No. 18 in Class S.
