Landscaper who said he had no sex drive pleads guilty to sexually assaulting minors

A Preston landscaper who told police he had no sex drive has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting four minors associated with his business.

Timothy Touchette, 51, faces up to three years in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 3 for two counts of risk of injury to a minor and two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. He will be on probation for 10 years following his release. He is required to register as a sex offender while he is on probation, and could be required to register for life because of the multiple offenses.

Touchette pleaded guilty under the Alford Doctrine, which means he does not agree with the state’s allegations but does not want to risk conviction at trial, which may lead to a harsher sentence.

The victims include one girl and three boys in their early teens.

The victims said they would hang out with Touchette at his campsite off Kozoil Road in Preston. They said he would buy them liquor and take advantage of them while they were drunk.

Confronted by police, Touchette said he is sterile and has low testosterone levels. Touchette suffers from Klinefelter’s Syndrome and has an extra “X,” or female chromosome.
