Next week we will be called on to perform one of our most important responsibilities as citizens of this great country.

I look forward to voting for Joy McConnell and Jamie Cosgrove as first and second selectmen of Branford. Voters always ask and look for change. By voting for Joy and Jamie, we can help to produce just that-change!

Joy has shown me she is a candidate who can not only manage the business of Branford for the next two years, but do it openly and fairly to every citizen. She has watched the happenings within our town for the past several years; now it is her hope of being a part of those happenings. Those of us who did not know her have been pleasantly surprised by her understanding of our government as well as her desire to make Branford a community that takes prides in its actions for the betterment of everyone.

Jamie was born and bred in this town. We've seen him these past two years on the RTM, speaking thoughtfully and intelligently on issues needing action by that body. He handles himself in a professional manner, making his point in ways that leave little or no room for dispute.

Both Joy and Jamie will be selectmen of whom our town can be proud. I encourage your readers to join me in a vote in their favor.
