Our “Read of The Day” author event with bestselling horror writer Paul Tremblay will take place 7 p.m. Thursday at Mystic Bank Square Books. The event was originally scheduled for July 28 but was postponed. Tremblay is on tour behind his latest novel, “The Pallbearers Club,” and will discuss the book with The Day’s Rick Koster. He will also discuss the recent news that director M. Night Shyamalan’s film of the author’s novel “The Cabin at the End of the World” will hit theaters in 2023. The event is free to the public.
