The boats at Mystic Seaport have great historic significance and provenance and as such are securely anchored for maximum safety and protection. Ditto for the archival buildings and period replicas on-site and the property’s world class museum.

Let’s hope the whole facility can withstand the exuberant sounds, energies and rhythms of the New London Big Band when the vaunted ensemble performs their original music and arrangements of classic swing and jazz at the Seaport Saturday.
