    Chords for a cause

    Sue Mead (contributed)

Once again, many of the area’s finest musicians will assemble for another “Pass the Guitar” fundraising concert on behalf of the New London Homeless Hospitality Center.

The concept’s fun: Each artist plays one song, on the same guitar, then hands it off to the next. The audience gets to see a LOT of skilled performers and songwriters in a very short time.

Contributing this Saturday, when Pass the Guitar takes place in Unity Hall at New London’s All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation are:

Dogbite, the Carolans, Nick Evento, Vince Tuckwood, Coal Tattoo, Anne Castellano, Bryan Winoski, Ben & Nancy Parent with Steve Elci, Frank Critelli, Joe Glennon, David Horst, Sue Mead, Elana Zabari, Bernadette Golden, Dante Piacenza, Bonnie Jacobson, Karen Stein and more to be named.

Pass the Guitar, 6:30 p.m. Saturday, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 19 Jay St., New London; $15 in advance, $20 at the door; pizza, wine and beer available for donation; nlhhc.org.
