John Cotter discusses ‘Losing Music’ Wednesday at Waterford Library
Norwich native and former Merrill House writer-in-residence John Cotter appears Wednesday at the Waterford Public Library to discuss his recently published memoir “Losing Music.”
The book recounts his struggles, starting at age 30, against a debilitating illness originally but inaccurately diagnosed as Meniere’s Disease — a broadly defined and not well understood condition that causes vertigo, dizziness and significant hearing issues.
The book was highly praised by The Wall Street Journal, Oprah Daily and The Millions.
The event takes place 6:30-7:30 p.m. and is free. Waterford Public Library is located at 49 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford. Call (860) 444-5805 or visit waterfordct.org/158/library.
