    Mashantucket Pequot Museum open for season

    After an array of renovations, and with an expansive lineup of events, workshops and programs for families and folks of all ages, the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center has reopened for the 2024 season.

    With a focus on visitor comfort, the museum features resurfaced flooring, improvements to the children’s library, restoration of the Tribal seal, and repairs to elevators, kitchen and observation tower roof.

    From now into autumn, interactive experiences and activities for visitors include Kids Week at the Pequot Museum (April 10-12); Special Edition Witness to Genocide (May 25); Strawberry Moon Farmer’s Market (June 15); Education Powwow (July 13); Three Sisters’ Community Fundraiser (Aug. 17); Culture Intelligence Workshop (Oct. 12); and more.

    The Mashantucket Pequot Museum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wed.-Sat. with last admission at 4 p.m. Admission is free for members and children five and under, $25 adults, $20 seniors 65+ and college students with ID and $16 ages 6-17; 110 Pequot Trail, Ledyard.
