Westerly singer-songwriter Will Evans, who recently returned from L.A. after performing as a finalist in Cumulus Media's nationwide neXt2rock competition, is releasing a new CD.

It's called "Live at Savoy" because it was recorded last September in the excellent Savoy Bookshop & Café. And, knowing a good thing, Evans will perform a release concert/signing party Sunday at, yes, the Savoy Bookshop.

Here's hoping the CD includes an incredible song called "Adam & Eve," one of those career-making compositions. It's possible, of course, that Evans is holding "Adam & Eve" for another upcoming release, a studio album titled "Rise," which comes out in late spring. The good news is that Evans is such a talented writer that there's essentially no "filler" on his albums.

Oh, and, if you've never seen Evans in person, it's well worth your time. He's an amazing and mesmeric performer.
