'Radio Rage' showing Saturday

“Radio Rage,” a local film produced 15 years ago by Nightshade Productions, will be shown at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at New London Public Library’s community room.

Written by Nicholas Checker and directed by SJ Williams and Becca Atkins, the locally shot film takes aim at hate radio talk shows and their dark underbelly, with parallels to today's political scene.

The 25-minute film features cinematography by Bill Hamell, and local actors include Dean Festa, Kevin McMahon, Greg and Sam Bliven, Kate Downie, Jake Kaeser and Bill Hossack, with music by Darin Keech and his Band of Humans. Several of the film's principals are expected for the showing.
