Thursday is Ladies Day in New Haven

Following its debut in August 2008, the fifth annual New Haven Food & Wine Festival will return this summer with the Ladies Day Luncheon & Fashion Show on Thursday. This year’s food and wine events will take place during the 2012 New Haven Open at Yale, and cumulatively feature more than 20 of the city’s top restaurants.

The Ladies Day Luncheon & Fashion Show luncheon will feature a menu created by local chef Claire Criscuolo, a pioneer New Haven’s organic and sustainable food movement, of New Haven’s Claire’s Corner Copia. Following lunch, Island Time will debut Vineyard Vines’ “back to school” styles for fall 2012. The Ladies Day Luncheon & Fashion Show runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $100 and include a box seat tennis ticket, gift bag and door prizes.
