Expressiones has collaborated with The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of New London and The Drop-In Learning Center on a puppet presentation of “Pinocchio” that will be given a public performance at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford.

The program has been providing kids with the chance to learn about the Pinocchio story and its lessons. It has included workshops on puppet-making and has provided life experiences like a field trip to New York City, where the children of The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club visited the Pinocchio exhibition at MOMA.

Expressiones' partnership with the other two organizations fits with its mission of bridging cultural gaps between diverse communities in the area and providing arts and educational programs for children in New London.
