Anime voice actors coming to Mystic

Two prominent voice actors in the anime industry are coming to anime store Arisu at Olde Mistick Village starting at 10 a.m. April 20 and 11 a.m. April 21.

Chris Hackney and Nicholas Roye will be in the store for signings. They will sign prints, Funkos, and other collectibles.

There is a $5 ticket fee to secure a place in line. Signings and photos with the actors are extra and are charged directly by the voice actors. For more on ticketing, visit arisuanime.com/pages/event-tickets.

Hackney is most well-known for such titles as Fire Emblem, K Project, Hunter x Hunter, Mega Man 11, Valkyria Chronicles 4, and Gundam SEED.

Roye is recognized as the voice of many characters in anime and animated series and movies ranging from WEB-STER in Disney Jr.'s show “Spidey and His Amazing Friends” to Chuuya Nakahara in “Bungou Stray Dogs” to Shisui Uchiha in “Naruto Shippuden.”

Arisu is owned by Ellie Greenberg, who will open a second Arisu store in Fairfield on May 17.
