    Kids/Family, Nature/Outdoors

Gwen Rice from Freedom First Wildlife Rehab, a wildlife rescue service in Waterford, will bring Clyde, an ambassador barred owl, for an up-close meet and greet in a perfect setting: the Stacy Barn off of Jordan Green. Gwen will speak about regional owls, conservation, rehabilitation efforts, and more. The Stacy Barn holds a fine collection of antique farming equipment reflective of Waterford’s agricultural past. The Society’s historic buildings will be open for tours one hour before the program begins. Freedom First is an owl-exclusive rehabilitation and educational 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. A free and family-friendly event, but donations to both non-profit organizations will be gratefully accepted.
