Helmets Needed

The Helmet Awareness & Bicycle Safety program of Westerly (HABS) and All About You personal training center in East Lyme have partnered to collect children's bicycle helmets to donate to the Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA) child care centers in New London and Jewett City. The groups are seeking helmet sponsors to help them reach their goal of 60 helmets.

Sponsorships are $7.50 per helmet. To make a donation, send checks payable to HABS Organization to P.O. Box 1023, Westerly, RI 02891. The deadline for donations is May 31.
