    H.S. lacrosse: Stonington girls topple NFA 13-8

    Stonington — Junior Hannah Lamb had four goals and an assist in Stonington's 13-8 win over Norwich Free Academy in a girls' lacross game on Tuesday night.

    Kate Johnson chipped in three goals and three assists while Emma Sabbadini had three goals and two assists and Catherine Cassata added three goals for the Bears (5-3).

    Catie Shannon led the Wildcats (6-4) with four goals. Ria Kilimos, G.G. Guerrier and Katie Kelly all had one goal apiece.

    In other games:

    • Maggie O'Leary scored seven goals as Fitch cruised to a 19-6 victory over Griswold. Zoe Pearse added four goals for the Falcons (4-2) while Jessica Russo scored three goals, Diana Sefransky had three assists, and Nora Ryan and Charlotte Carney each scored twice.

    • Alexis DeLucia scored five goals while Kenzie Ullrich added two goals and two assists as Montville outlasted St. Bernard 8-7. Morgan Orr also scored for the Indians (2-5) while Lindsey Beavan and Ashley Rewers each added a goal. Bridget Feeley scored three goals for the Saints (2-2) while Mia Londregan and Addy Horgan added two goals apiece and goalie Payton McCauley made 10 saves.

    • Taylor Scully had six goals and four assists as Hand downed East Lyme 17-6. Riley Kokoruda had four goals and two assists for Hand (7-2). Kristin Healy scored twice for the Vikings (5-2) and Julia Bates and Olivia Facchini both had a goal and an assist.

    • Ledyard's Megan Larmann scored four goals but the Colonels lost to Woodstock Academy 13-7. Avery Samokar scored twice for Ledyard (3-4).

    Boys

    • Pat Brady scored six goals as St. Bernard/Wheeler beat Norwich Tech/Windham Tech 13-6. Scott Pion had three goals and two assists, Jack O'Leary had a goal and three assists and Emmett Brady scored twice for St. Bernard/Wheeler (5-1). Alex Ryan had four goals and an assist for Norwich Tech/Windham Tech (3-4).

    • Chris Ladyga had four goals and an assist as NFA beat Stonington 10-8. Rye Walencewicz and Dominic Renfree had two goals each and Matthew Kolashuk had a goal and an assist for NFA (4-5). Aaron Lahah scored four goals and Marco Tedeschi scored twice for Stonington (4-3).
