CIAC postpones today's Ledyard-Wolcott baseball semifinal

The CIAC has announced the postponement off all state baseball tournament semifinal games today, including the Class M game between No. 18 Ledyard and No. 3 Wolcott scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Palmer Field in Middletown.

The game will now be played on Wednesday, also at 3:30, back at Palmer Field.

CIAC officials decided to move all eight semifinal games, doubleheaders at Palmer Field (Class M), Municipal Stadium in Waterbury (Class LL), Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford (Class L) and Muzzy Field in Bristol (Class S), to Wednesday due to the forecast of scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the state today.
