    H.S. lacrosse: Stonington girls keep rolling in ECC Division II

    Stonington — Kathryn Logel had three goals and five assists as Stonington beat Ledyard 16-3 in an Eastern Connecticut Conference Division II girls' lacrosse game on Tuesday night.

    Hannah Lamb had five goals and an assist, Emma Sabbadini had four goals, and Kate Johnson scored three times for the first-place Bears (7-1, 3-0).

    Cassidy Carroll, Kaitlin Flynn and Sabrina Mitchell scored for the Colonels (2-6, 0-3).

    In other games:

    • Lindsey Beavan had two goals and two assists in Montville’s 17-5 win over Wheeler/Grasso Tech in ECC Division II. Alexis DeLucia and Mackenzie Ullrich both had three goals, Maddie Gould had two goals and an assist, and Madi Price scored twice for Montville (7-1, 4-0). Daniela Roy had three goals and Gracie Anderson scored twice the Lions (1-4, 1-4).

    • Maggie O’Leary had five goals and four assists as Fitch overwhelmed Norwich Free Academy 18-0 in an ECC Division I game. Madelyn Catlett had three goals and an assist, Rita Sefransky had two goals and two assists, and Zoe Pearse had two goals and an assist for the Falcons (4-1, 2-1). The Wildcats are 0-7, 0-2.

    • Olivia Gianakos had six goals and two assists as Waterford defeated Bacon Academy 12-5 in an ECC Division II game. Grace Briggs had four goals and an assist, Ashley Brandt had a goal and an assist, and Courtney Dishaw had seven saves for Waterford (4-5, 2-1).

    • Kristen Healy had four goals and Julia Bates scored three times as East Lyme beat North Haven 18-3 in a nonleague game. Nancy Alden had two goals and two assists, Abby Mountain, Caroline Real, Megan Bauman and Izzy Mazzi had two goals each and Natalie Taylor had a goal and two assists for the Vikings (5-1).

    • Old Lyme suffered its first loss in Shoreline Conference play, losing to North Branford 11-5. Lydia Tinnerello had three goals and an assist, Hayden Saunders made 12 saves and Bella Arias and Paige Britton scored goals for Old Lyme (5-3, 4-1). Jess Kilburn had five goals and two assists for North Branford (8-0, 5-0). 

    Boys

    • Nick Pasqualini scored the go-ahead goal with 2:17 remaining as Fitch won its first game of the season, 9-8, over Woodstock Academy in an ECC Division I contest. James Deichler had five goals for Fitch (1-5, 1-2) and Pasqualini scored twice.

    • Alec Spiers had five goals and an assist as Old Lyme rallied in the third quarter and beat North Branford, 9-8, in the Shoreline Conference. Old Lyme trailed at halftime, 4-1, and then scored seven times in the third quarter. Mike Kolesnik scored twice and Corbin Caulkins and Owen Macadam each had a goal and an assist for Old Lyme (4-4).

    • Noah Mocksfield had five goals for Bacon Academy as it blanked Montville 16-0 in an ECC Division II game. Stevie Turchetta had 14 saves for Montville (0-6, 0-4).
