UPDATED: ECC alters today's baseball, softball schedules
The Eastern Connecticut Conference, an attempt to beat Thursday's late afternoon forecast of rain, has altered its baseball and softball schedules.
The two softball championship games at Griswold have been moved up. No. 3 Plainfield will play No. 4 Ledyard in the Division I final at 2 p.m., followed by the Division I final between No. 1 Norwich Free Academy and No. 3 Griswold at 4 p.m.
In baseball, No. 1 Ledyard will play No. 5 East Lyme at Fitch and the game between No. 2 Lyman Memorial and No. 7 Waterford will be played at Montville. Both games will start at 3 p.m.
Friday's championship game will still be played at Fitch at 6 p.m.
