    Bacon wrestlers upset New Milford

    Southington - Bacon Academy upset top-ranked New Milford and No. 4 Bristol Central to win the inaugural Mass-Conn Fusion wrestling tournament Saturday night at Southington High School.The event featured six Connecticut schools, five from Massachusetts and a group of Massachusetts individuals. The Bobcats, ranked No. 8 in last week's Norwich Bulletin state coaches' poll, finished with 168 points, 14 better than No. 1 New Milford.

Rachel Nelson, Abby Hine, Erin Davey and Sam Schoeneberger also scored for Conn, which had 58 shots.
