Directions: From I-95, take exit 68. Stay straight off exit ramp. Left onto Route 1. Follow past the high school, then take a right onto School House Road. Park will be on your right about a mile up the road.
Where to Park: There are about 10 spaces available at entrance by the baseball field. Another 10-15 spaces available at the trail entrance.
Description: Clark Community Park has a little bit of everything for everyone. There are ball fields for summer fun as well as a small lake, stream and a fish ladder to aid the migration of spawning fish. Visitors can walk around and beyond the perimeter of the ball fields or hike the three trails that together make up a roughly 2-mile hike. One section of the red trail connects to the Great Cedars Conservation Area.
Regulations: No dumping of leaves or trash. Dogs must be on leash and are permitted only on the perimeter of the ball fields. No swimming. Park closes at dusk.
Amenities: Two baseball fields, a soccer field and a basketball court.
Natural Features: Crystal Lake sits just behind the ball fields. The trails cut through marsh, not far from the Cedar Swamp.
Fees: None.
Things to Note: This is a bug-heavy hike in the summer, so make sure to apply some form of mosquito repellent.
