    Abortions, but not smoking

It absolutely baffles me that the great state of Connecticut would even consider denying people between the ages of 18 and 20 the right to buy cigarettes. After all, it's their body, their choice. Do you actually expect our men and women in the military to get someone else to buy their cigarettes for them as if they were wayward children? And on the other hand, the great state of Connecticut has written its abortion statutes specifically for minors under the age of 16, think 15, 14, even 12, guaranteeing them the right to an abortion without even notifying a parent, but, God forbid, they can't smoke until they're 21.

    What's up with that, Connecticut?
