Time to erect fences around our schools

The school shootings keep coming. The suspects who carry out the killings may have mental illness, be motivated by jealousy, or maybe they have been bullied.

It may not sound good, but the only way to help protect our schools is to build fences around all schools. We must make our schools like a prison, where everyone who enters must be checked, just like at airports. That way, it will help to cut down on this terrible killing of children, who should be free to attend school with friends, get an education, play sports and be happy. They need a safe environment.

This is the way it has to be, agree or disagree. There is no other way. It gets to a point where parents will not send their children to school for fear of the safety of their loving children. When parents send their children to school and then go to work they should be able to assume they will come home safe. They shouldn't have to worry about getting a phone call that there has been a shooting.
