I am writing in support of Matt Pugliese for the 23rd House district race, representing Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook. Matt is an excellent candidate for the Connecticut House. He is compassionate, hardworking and knowledgeable. As a businessman who has had to meet payroll he understands the need to keep taxes low and simple. He understands the state budget well and has good ideas for cutting spending while retaining critical services. 

He also understands the need to fight for our communities’ fair share of education funding and he will be a reliable voice inside the majority caucus room who is able to advocate successfully for us. We deserve to have a powerful voice at the Capitol working on our behalf. I hope you will join me in voting for Matt Pugliese this November.
