Carney pushes reform using common sense solutions

I write in strong support of Devin Carney for re-election as our state representative for Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook. He is the experienced leader we need to guide us through our state's fiscal crisis.

In only his second term Devin was named ranking member of the powerful Transportation Committee where he has fought to improve our transportation infrastructure and hold the DMV accountable. He also sits on the powerful Finance Committee where he has advocated for meaningful budgetary and fiscal reform like strict spending and bonding caps and reduced taxes on small business. He has pushed to reduce government waste including supporting the elimination of unnecessary politically appointed employees who make too much while our deficit skyrockets.

Devin has always been there for us and always put our community above any special interest or union. We need Devin's experience, common sense, and leadership in Hartford. He is an advocate for our communities and for real reform, not just lip service.
