Trump crafty? Sort of. Clever? Not at all.

I am responding to the letter, “Trump’s crafty approach will get the border wall built,” (Feb. 2). I love words and meanings really do matter! “Crafty” for those who don’t know means: “clever at achieving one's aims by indirect or deceitful methods.” This describes Donald Trump quite well; however, he’s neither clever nor does he use indirect methods.

Trump has always wanted things his way and has a hugely over-inflated sense of his own importance. He has been and is a habitual liar, for his own gain! He has never admitted he was wrong about anything or that he doesn’t know something. Who goes through life like that?

Look at how little (and what) he reads as president and how he dismisses actual facts. This is a man who has three failed marriages, benefited from chain immigration, four bankruptcies, fraudulent businesses (Trump University and Charities), cabinet picks that lied to federal authorities, said Russian meddling is a "hoax," contradicts his military intelligence experts, and furloughed 800,000 people at Christmas for 35 days. Need I say more?

So, is this the high-powered, highly intelligent and very crafty business man you speak of? He will build his wall alright, right over your eyes.
