On a Saturday, my best friend Butch and I were accosted as we went to the waterfront at Wyassup Lake as we have done for the last five years.

The person pointed out a new sign that stated that all dogs must be on a leash, that was posted by the Connecticut DEEP. Yet when I checked on Safari, the law stated that dogs could be unleashed if under the control of the owner.

I contacted DEEP but received no reply. Butch has never had any problems. He loves everyone, especially children. He greets everyone with love. I have posted the law about leash laws in Connecticut next to the sign. DEEP should remove their sign.
