Concerning the Senate impeachment trial: It is important that witnesses are called to testify. It will be unfair to all, especially the American people, if a trial proceeds without witnesses. How would that be a trial? Executive privilege is invalid in a case of such magnitude. The questioning can be done in private, with the senators, if there is a question of national security.
