Protect Postal Service
Recently I observed that Congress allocated additional funding for the front-line workers of health care services and other front-line workers as they deserved so. At the same time, I see United States Postal Service workers are left in the cold. Postal mail carriers deliver mail no matter what the weather conditions. They provide a critical service to the society.
I also hear that our president wants not only to close some post offices − such as East Lyme Post Office − but wants to abolish United States Postal Service. I urge the Congress to allocate additional funds for these workers; and stop USPS closure.
