So, it's OK to use spray paint to impose your views on others?

What is wrong with this picture?

I understand the controversy over Christopher Columbus. I understand removing the statue. I understand that the perpetrators have been identified.

I do not understand why the mayor’s house and car are not green and gold. But I have some spray paint and I can correct that. Will that be OK?

Of course, I do not want to get into trouble. Therefore I am asking pardon, please.
