Pam Patalano, area residents should recognize the name. Ms. Patalano led the fight to keep the proposed and unwanted police gun range and training facility out of Griswold. She, and a dedicated band of concerned residents, fought long and hard to keep this area from being the dumping ground for a project no other towns wanted. Pam isn't a Johnny come lately, nor a pushover. I have found her to be tuned into the issues facing this region, unafraid to do battle in this state. We do not need a legislator who disappears after winning an election. We need Pam Patalano, who I believe is up to the challenge of being a very good state representative. I hope readers in the 45th House District of Griswold, Lisbon, Plainfield, Sterling and Voluntown will come out to vote and make the decision to send Pam to Hartford in the Aug. 11 primary and Nov. 3 election. She deserves it.
