In an era when politicians seem more interested in serving their own needs instead of the needs of the electorate, Rep. Holly Cheeseman is a stunning example of a representative dedicated to serving the needs of her constituency.

Last January, I was experiencing electricity voltage dropouts to the tune of 100 per day. One call to Cheeseman got the Public Utility Regulatory Authority involved. Together, working with Eversource, we discovered a faulty line voltage regulator impacting a large segment of Black Point. This was promptly replaced. Without her immediate intervention many of my own and neighborhood electronics could have been damaged or destroyed.

Cheeseman has been an invaluable resource to me, my family and my neighbors by providing us with accurate and timely information from the Statehouse and governor’s office about COVID-19 executive orders. This information helped our community navigate the ever-changing playing field of recommendations and regulations, helping us have a safe and healthy summer.

East Lyme and Salem need the benefit of the hard-working, service-minded experience of Rep. Cheeseman. She is easily accessible, immediately responsive and a tireless advocate for us.
