Rubino will lead where Carney has failed

With leadership failing at the highest levels, it becomes more critical to ensure that our local leaders are dedicated to fighting for the ideals we hold dear.

With reproductive rights, voting rights, equitable policing, and environmentalism embattled at the federal level, we depend on our state government to protect us. Unfortunately, we cannot always count on our local leaders to do that.

As a state representative for the 23rd District, Devin Carney has voted against measures for police accountability, immigrant protection, access to voting, and living wages for Connecticut families.

David Rubino, running for state representative against Carney, has proven that he is dedicated to the ideals he believes in: inclusive democracy and an equitable economy.

Foregoing a corporate law career, Dave chose to fight for human rights, women’s rights, voting rights, and legislative reform in the world’s most oppressive dictatorships. Dave is experienced, persistent, empathetic, and upright. He is the tough, experienced fighter we need for difficult times, and we are fortunate to have such a candidate.
