Bumgardner is change that City of Groton needs
I would like to invite my family, friends, and neighbors in the City of Groton to vote on March 8 for Aundré Bumgardner in his bid for mayor. Our beautiful city needs a change in leadership. I have seen this young man walking all over the city knocking on doors, talking to people in all kinds of weather. He certainly has the experience needed to be mayor. He has served as our state representative in Hartford, on the Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Town Council.
The city needs young people to get involved and care about their community. Bumgardner brings experience and energy to the job. As I talk to people in the community about him, they are enthusiastic about his fresh ideas. We need a change; just drive down Thames Street. The biggest comment is that he is young. Remember, you only have to be 35 to be president of the United States.
