Firsthand experience with Hedrick's leadership in City of Groton

In March 2017, my sister and I purchased Norm’s Diner. One of our first guests was City of Groton Mayor Keith Hedrick, who welcomed us to the city with open arms.

As with any small business, sometimes issues occur with city services. That same year, we encountered a water draining issue caused by a clog in the city’s main sewer line. After reaching out to Mayor Hedrick, he not only had Public Works working on clearing up the clog, but also helped us recoup the money spent for a plumber. This type of hands-on leadership is what residents and small businesses depend on.

Keith is a family man and appreciates his visits to the diner with his grandson. He has been there to lend a helping hand to a friend, resident, or when answering the call of his country.

As mayor, Keith is extremely knowledgeable about the workings of the city and how/what it needs to operate in order to survive, especially during these trying times. More so, he believes in the City of Groton and its residents. I urge my fellow residents to support Mayor Hedrick in the March 8 primary election and continue Groton’s direction toward a brighter future.
