I found the political cartoon of “Dr. Quack”, aka Dr. Fauci, extremely offensive and shameful, (May 3).

Dr. Fauci is a world recognized expert in his field, not a quack. He has worked tirelessly to help the American people navigate as safely as possible through this pandemic with science and real data. It is a new virus, and we are still learning. Does no one remember that we are approaching 600,000 deaths due to COVID-19?

The quacks I think are the ones that disbanded the pandemic team and did not listen to the scientists so we would not harm the “economy.” Nothing to see here. How many thousands of lives could have been saved?

And it is not over.

Maybe you would rather be swallowing bleach or chugging hydroxychloroquine with that dinner?

Does no one at The Day have a sense of decency or responsibility for what they put out there?
