Resuming Palestinian aid a big Biden blunder
The Biden administration has announced that they are resuming U.S. assistance to the Palestinians, including to the U.N. agency that deals with Palestinian refugees, payments that were cut off by President Trump because these funds were used by the PA to pay pensions to families of suicide bombers and families of jailed terrorists. The PA has never denied this and continues to name public squares in honor of these murderers.
One of the reasons given for this change in U.S. policy is that it will help peace efforts that would culminate in the "two-state solution." However, no U.S. or any other outside pressure has ever been able to bring the PA around to recognizing that Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East, is a nation and will remain so, despite efforts to destroy it.
Why, then, should we cheapen ourselves by thrusting money upon the corrupt PA?
