Take honest look at unvaccinated problem

In the July 29 Day, Jay Lustgarten's letter stated that the areas experiencing the highest growth rates are in Trump strongholds, "Paying the price for their vaccine ignorance". CDC data shows some of the lowest vaccination rates are in New York City and Los Angeles County where the outbreaks are among the worst. These areas are not Trump areas by a long shot, but quite the opposite. The Southwest U.S. is also bad, an area where individuals who have entered the country illegally are again being welcomed, including many who are also unvaccinated!
