Would someone please indict this guy?

By all accounts from reputable sources, the former president tried to extort a foreign nation's president to get dirt on his political rival, an act for which he was impeached but not convicted. He tried to coerce the Georgia Secretary of State to "find enough votes" to overturn an election. He fomented an insurrection to disrupt the U. S. Congress, thwart the peaceful transfer of power, and overturn a U.S. presidential election. And he reportedly destroyed presidential records — an apparent illegal attempt to hide his misdeeds.

He is welcome to defend himself over these last three allegations, but they should not be ignored by the justice system.

Please, someone indict him and restore some semblance of honor to our American Democracy.

    Eric Smith
