I was one of the 200 people attending the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing about Seaside Regional Center on June 13 in Waterford.
After a two-hour sales pitch by developer Mark Steiner, most of us were too exhausted to bring up our questions. In regard to the change in the 55-year-old age requirement, Brian Miller spoke for a half hour about the failure of those developments in the new economy.
In eliminating the 55-year old restriction, where are they going to find people younger than that to pay $500,000 for a vacation home?
Why in the original plan was there no mention of a dining area?
