I am so grateful for CL&P and all the linemen from both within and outside of Connecticut who work so hard day and night to make the needed repairs so we can have electrical power back.

We were without electrical power for three and a half days and it was a challenge to stay upbeat and positive and trusting they were working for us. We don't realize how much something means to us until we lose it.

I am also thankful for Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and U.S. Rep Joe Courtney (D-2nd District) and Rep. Tom Reynolds, (D-Ledyard) for coming to the people of Ledyard Wednesday to hear their complaints. It showed they really cared and were willing to listen to us.

I am learning how much convenience electricity brings to us and I am so grateful to have it.

We are blessed in so many ways.
