Don't knock reader's favorite comic strips

Whoa! The author of a recent letter found "objectionable" three of my favorite comics ("The comics are no longer the funny pages," July 14) - Doonesbury, Pooch Cafe, and Mother Goose and Grimm.

Lacking a sense of humor, perhaps?
